Established in 1986, the Pregnancy Care Center of Burke County is a pro-life ministry created with the intent of supporting local women and men in their journeys through pregnancy and parenting.

We are an organization of technicians and volunteers that provides peer advocacy, resources, and educational materials to Burke County families.

Our staff provides emotional, spiritual, and material support, as well as facilitates a supportive community.

We welcome people of all faiths, ages, backgrounds, and life circumstances.

Mission Statement

"The Pregnancy Care Center is a Christ-centered ministry who encourages life affirming services designed to connect with women and men while they are making informed decisions about pregnancy and parenting."

Who We ARE

  • We are committed to providing our clients with accurate and complete information about pregnancy, prenatal development, abortion, adoption, and parenting.  (All medical information is carefully vetted by our Nurse Manager and Medical Director)

  • We are committed to presenting information in a caring and compassionate manner.

  • We are committed to integrity.

  • We are committed to assisting women/families that choose to carry to term by providing emotional encouragement and practical support.

  • We offer services FREE of charge at all times.

  • We commit to confidentiality for all clients at all times. (Only excluding situations in which we are mandated to report to proper authorities.

  • We strive to be a "safe place to land" after a person has made an abortion decision and needs further support in healing from that decision.

Who We Are NOT

  • We do NOT recommend, provide, or refer for abortion.

  • We do NOT discriminate based on gender, sexuality, age, race, religion, marital status, or any other factor.  ALL potential clients are welcome here.

  • We do NOT deceive in our advertisements or individual conversations with clients about who we are or what we do.

  • We do NOT shame anyone.

  • We do NOT picket outside of clinics that provide abortions.

  • We do NOT force or coerce an individual to make a certain choice.  We love life, and while it is our desire for every woman and family to feel supported enough that want to choose life for their unborn child, that decision is ultimately left up to them without judgement or condemnation from our staff or volunteers.  Our goal is to inform, share the love of Jesus, and let Him do the rest.
